A Weekend of Summer-Ending Festivals in San Jose
Labor Day has come and gone, leaving us at the precipice of everyone's favorite season. Summer fun is far from over though, with San Jose festivals aplenty this weekend, September 12th & 13th. Sip and savor two days of art and wine in scenic Mountain View, wander super hip happenings in the SoFA District, shop an authentic American Indian Market at a traditional powwow – or hit all three!
The 8th Annual American Indian Heritage Celebration

FREE and open to the public, this intertribal all-day event is a special experience celebrating the art, music, and rich cultures of American Indians. Feast on fry bread and Indian tacos. Learn to weave baskets, work with clay, and make natural instruments. Watch jaw-dropping hoop dancers perform beside drummers onstage, then shop the day away in a bustling market of handmade crafts.

"A Festival Like No Other," this two-day sip and style party on one of the most vibrant streets in Silicon Valley is a late-summer hit with locals and visitors alike. Now in its 44th year, Downtown Mountain View transforms into a gallery of work from over 600 artists, with live music, amusement park attractions, and food from some of the region's hottest restaurants.
